Background
Camrose City Council consists of a Mayor and eight Councillors who were elected October 15, 2007, for a three-year term. Regular Council meetings are normally scheduled for the second and fourth Mondays of each month commencing at 5:00 p.m. at City Hall.

MAYOR
Clarence Mastel is serving his second term as Mayor of the City of Camrose. Clarence retired as Manager of the Alberta Wheat Pool Seed Business Unit after 34 years of service, and has been involved in numerous community activities and volunteer positions.

Gerry Galenza is serving his seventh term as a City Councillor. Gerry is a retired pharmacist. He currently serves on the Emergency Management Committee, the Regional Solid Waste Authority and the Camrose Regional Exhibition Board.

John Howard is serving his first term as a City Councillor. He currently serves on the Camrose & District Support Services Board, the Social Planning Advisory Committee, and the Camrose Public Library Board.

Max Lindstrand is serving his first term as a City Councillor. He currently serves on the Regional Solid Waste Authority, the Camrose & Area Lodge Authority, the Camrose & District Support Services Board and the Jeppa Danielson Train Committee.

Kevin Pratt is serving his second term as a City Councillor. Kevin has been a self employed businessman in Camrose for over 32 years, and has been an active community volunteer. He currently serves on the City/County Ambulance Authority, the Subdivision & Development Appeal Board and Tourism Camrose.
