Events-Annual and Periodical
Camrose is host to many events throughout the year. You can check out our up-to-date events calendar
to see what's going on while you're in town, or you can plan a visit around any of our better-known events listed below.
Artsfest
Held throughout the month of June, Artsfest coincides with the Jaywalkers Jamboree. The Artsfest stage can usually be found
in City Centre at the Jamboree each year, providing a wide range of live entertainment. Artsfest also celebrates National
Aboriginal Day each year at the Centennial Museum. Be sure to check out the Arts Centre Events
section for dates and times.
Artwalk
This art-lover's walk has two sessions per year. The first takes place between June and July, and the final session takes place in

Big Valley Jamboree
Typically held on the August long weekend, the Big Valley Jamboree is an annual country music concert extravaganza
spread-out over four days. This is an excellent opportunity to see and hear some world-class country musicians. Visit

Camrose & District Seniors Centre
Tai Chi, Bocce Ball, Carpet Bowling and a whole lot more! The Camrose & District Seniors Centre hosts many exciting

Camrose Founder's Days
Honoring individuals that founded our community, the Camrose Founder's Day Celebration takes place in August at
various locations throughout the city. Check out their website for details.
Camrose Regional Exhibition
The Camrose Regional Exhibition grounds plays host to over 300 unique events each year. Visit their website, or contact

Canada Day Celebrations
July 1st at the Camrose Centennial Museum, the Canada Day Celebrations are sponsored by the City of Camrose, Heritage
Canada and local businesses and individuals. The celebration typically includes entertainment, games and activities,
cake, museum tours, hay rides, souvenirs, fireworks and more. For more info, visit the

Farmer's Markets in Camrose
Duggan Mall — located at 6601 48 Avenue — hosts two farmer's markets each week. Both offer something for everyone.
Whether you're looking for homemade bread, pastries, plants, jewelry or just a unique gift, these farmer's
markets make for a fun excursion. Check out the Rose City Farmer's Market every Thursday from 3:00 to
9:00 p.m., or the Camrose and District Farmer's Market every Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Jaywalkers Jamboree
Usually held on the first weekend in June, the Annual Jaywalkers Jamboree in Camrose is an outdoor festival that takes over
Main Street and the Duggan Mall parking lot offering plenty of rides, food, games, and live entertainment.
Music in the Park
Every Thursday night from late June until the end of August, grab a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy an evening of live
music outdoors, surrounded by the beauty of Mirror Lake. Music in the Park hosts a new genre of music every night, and
there is no cost to attend. Take part in the 50/50 draw each night, and be sure to bring a non perishable food item for

Spirits of Christmas Craft Sale & Show
Typically held in November, this craft show and sale takes place at the Camrose Regional Exhibition. Call 672-9949 for more information.
