Camrose Heart Safe Society - Public Access Defibrillation (PAD) Program
Camrose Heart Safe Society was formed to begin the implementation of a Public Access Defibrillation (PAD) Program. The program's goals are to place automatic external defibrillators (AEDs) throughout the City and County of Camrose and to provide education about sudden cardiac arrest and other respiratory emergencies. AEDs are portable defibrillators that can be used by anyone in the public when a sudden cardiac arrest occurs. These devices are currently in place at the Camrose Composite High School, the Golf Course, Max McLean Arena, Aquatic Center and the Public Health Building. AEDs are also soon to be at the including the Community Services buildings, the Arts Center, and the Community Center.
If you would like more information on the Society and the PAD program or if you would like to place an AED in your business please contact Chris Cardiff at 679-6138.
