1. FROM THE LAKE

The water that we use in our homes comes from nature. It comes out of Dried Meat lake.  Caution: You should not drink water directly from a lake or stream. The water may have materials in it that can be harmful to you. The water must be treated to make it safe for people to drink.
"Treat"
means to make something clean and safe for human use.




  1.  Water travels through pipes all the way to the Camrose Water Treatment Plant.

  2.  The water comes out of the lake and flows into a pipe. The pipe has screens that filter out weeds and other objects from the water.
