Valleyview Residential Lot Development

The Valleyview development is a multi-staged residential subdivision development being constructed in the south of Camrose Drive along Valleyview Drive (the southern extension of Parkview Drive).

Project Profile:
The remaining work on Phase 4 of the Valleyview Subdivision involves the installation of concrete sidewalks. Phase 5 development has been approved by City Council and involves: surface work (including roads, curbs and gutters, roadway signage and fine lot grading), installation of shallow utilities (power, gas, telephone and cable) and installation of concrete drainage swales, sidewalks, pararamps and lane aprons.
Phase 4 lots are currently available for sale. Phase 5 lots are expected to be available for purchase in the fall of 2008 or the spring of 2009.
Engineering:
The design and site supervision of this project will be conducted by the City Engineering Department and MMM Group Ltd..
Contractor:
Border Paving has been awarded the contract for the surface work in Phase 5.
No contractor has been selected yet for the other construction projects in Phase 5.
Budget and Funding:
The total budget for this year's work is $2,000,000 with funding from the City Land Fund Reserve / Lot sales.
Schedule:
Phase 4 sidewalks are complete. Concrete curb and gutter installation in Phase 5 is complete. Bottom lift paving for Phase 5 is complete. Sidewalk and shallow utility installation is scheduled for September / October.
