Industrial Development 41 Street

Project Profile:
The City of Camrose Economic Development Department continues to receive inquiries regarding the availability of
industrial lots in Camrose. In an effort to meet this demand, the City of Camrose endeavored to complete the development
of lands west of 41 Street and south of 44 Avenue in the City industrial park area for the fall of 2008.
The final phases of this construction will see the roadway improvements constructed, on a local improvement basis, beginning
with the 44 Avenue leg of the project.
Additional utility servicing improvements are required prior to completion of the 41 and 43 Street portions of the project.

Engineering:
The design and site supervision of this project will be conducted by the City Engineering
Department.
Contractor:
Border Paving has been awarded the contract for the roadway improvement components of this project.
Nu Edge Construction has been awarded the contract for the utility servicing improvements.
Budget and Funding:
The budget to complete this project is $1,100,000 with funding from Local Improvement / City Land Fund Reserve.
Schedule:
Utility servicing improvements are currently taking place and are expected to be complete by mid August. Paving is scheduled to follow.
