The City of Camrose Engineering department is putting plans together to complete the construction of this section of roadway which will include:
- Installation of concrete curb, gutters and sidewalk along 50th Street
- Asphalt Paving (to a depth of 75mm)
- Ditch / Boulevard topsoil replacement and landscaping
The work will result in 50th Street being closed to through traffic for periods of time to facilitate roadway construction.
Engineering:
The design and site supervision of this project will be conducted by the City Engineering Department.
Contractor:
Jo's Concrete Services has been awarded the contract for the concrete curb, gutters and sidewalk.
Border Paving has been awarded the contract for the asphalt paving.
Budget and Funding:
This project is estimated to cost $600,000.
Schedule:
Concrete curb and gutters, bottom lift paving and top soil placement are complete.
Concrete island installation, final lift paving and landscaping are scheduled for August / September.
