Project Profile:
Accelerating asphalt distress/failures and the associated high maintenance costs involved have brought this project
to the City's attention.
This road construction project involves asphalt planing (grinding) the existing asphalt to various
depths and replacing it with hot mix asphalt.
Sections of Parkview Drive may be closed to vehicles for short periods during the construction. Adjacent
roadways will provide an alternative access.
The City will provide notice of the upcoming work in an effort to minimize the impact to area residents and
the motoring public.
Engineering:
The design and site supervision of this project will be conducted by the City Engineering
Department.
Contractor:
Border Paving Ltd. was awarded the contract for this project.
