Storm Sewer Addition
39 to 41 Street South of 47 Avenue

Last Modified Sep 18, 06

Project Profile:

The Storm Sewer Master Plan Study (1999) concludes that the existing 2100mm corrugated steel pipe will not provide sufficient capacity for future development of the east end properties south of Highway 13.

The storm sewer will be twinned with the installation of a 1650mm concrete storm sewer pipe from 39 Street to 41 Street providing additional capacity and reduce the risk of flooding in this area in a major storm event.

Engineering:

The design was modeled on the Associated Engineering Sanitary and Storm Master Plan with the City of Camrose Engineering Department. The design and site supervision of this project will be conducted by the City Engineering Department.
