47 Avenue Sanitary Sewer Relining 50 Street to West of 52 Street
Last Modified Oct 10, 06
Project Profile:
The sewer re-lining project along 47 Avenue between 50 Street to west of 52 Street is a non-disruptive method of installing a fully
structural pipe within a pipe. The lining technique utilizes the existing pipe and involves inserting a liner made up of fiberglass, inflated with a resin that once
cured will form a wall inside the deteriorated pipe. Minimal excavation of the existing road surface is required lowering the cost of the project and
causing less disruption to the neighbourhood.
