Project Profile:

Based on the current disposal rates, a new landfill cell will be required by the end of 2005.

The construction falls in line with the design cycle of 1 1/2 to 2 years per cell.

Engineering:

The design and site supervision of this project will be conducted by the City Engineering Department and GPEC Consulting.

Contractor:

Wally's Backhoe Services Ltd.

Budget and Funding:

The total 2005 budget for the landfill cell development is $120,000.

Schedule:

This project was completed by the beginning of November.
