Grand Drive

Curve Reconstruction and Sidewalk Removal

Project Profile:

The 2005 City of Camrose Capital Budget includes the curb re-alignment and removal of the sidewalk abutting Grand Drive.

The construction will entail the removal and re-installation of 100 lin m. of curb and gutter and and removal of the 230 m of 1.2 monolithic walk.

There will be some delays through this area, therefore residents are reminded to find alternative routes during construction.

Engineering:

The design and site supervision of this project will be conducted by the City Engineering Department.

Contractor:

Joe's Concrete and Border Paving have been awarded the contracts for this project.

Budget and Funding:

This project is estimated to cost $30,000.

Schedule:

Existing sidewalk removal completed. Curb, gutter and road widening completed on curve by mid June. Paving completed by end of June.

Photos:

Existing curb and gutter removed and road excavated.New curb, gutter and concrete road base.
Surface paving completed.
