Project Profile:

The 2005 City of Camrose Capital Budget included the roadway construction of a portion of 39th Avenue east of 55 Street to accommodate the new Parkview Ravines Development.

This roadway project includes the excavation of the existing road base and backfill with road base gravel, installation of new concrete curbs & sidewalks, asphalt paving and street light extensions to the limit of new development.

39th Avenue will be closed to vehicle traffic for short durations during construction. We will coordinate with Leisure Services in order to provide alternate access to the campground during this time.

Engineering:

The design and site supervision of this project will be conducted by the City Engineering Department.

Contractor:

Joe's Concrete and Border Paving have been awarded the contracts for this project.

Budget and Funding:

This project is estimated to cost $70,000.00 entirely funded by the Parkview Ravines developer.

Schedule:

Concrete work completed by mid July. Paving completed by the end of August.
