73 Street (Westpark development to 48 Ave)

Project Profile:

73 Street south of 48 Avenue was constructed to facilitate the Real Canadian Super Store development in 2001. The roadway reconstruction was staged so that completion of the road would take place once development to the south or west occurred. The new Westpark subdivision to the south has made it necessary to complete this connection in 2004. 73 Street will provide a link between Duggan Park, the Highway Commercial area and Highway 13.

The roadway project involves the excavation of the existing clay base, installation of new concrete curbs & sidewalks, asphalt paving and boulevard landscaping.

We anticipate not road closures due to this construction, with only minimal inconvenience when accessing the Super Store development.
