Project Profile:
73 Street north of 48 Avenue was constructed to facilitate the 2nd phase of the Corner Stone development in 2000 (Totem Building Centre). By agreement the separate sidewalk and street lighting were to be constructed in 2004.
The project involves the installation of street lights and a 1.8m walk along the east side of 73 Street from 48 Avenue north to Walmart. Boulevard re-landscaping will then complete the project.
Engineering:
The design and site supervision of this project will be conducted by the City Engineering Department.
Contractor:
The contractors for this project are Jo's Concrete Services Ltd. & Fortis Inc.
Budget and Funding:
The project is estimated to cost $61,000.00 funded by local improvement to adjacent property owners.
Schedule:
Concrete work was completed by October, with landscaping scheduled for Spring 2005.
