Project Profile:
In response to area residents request City Council initiated a bylaw for the reconstruction of an existing sidewalk on the west side of 52nd Street between 52 and 53 Avenues.
This project involves the removal of the existing concrete separate sidewalk, followed by the installation of new concrete sidewalk and restoration of the boulevard adjacent to the work.
Engineering:
The design and site supervision of this project will be conducted by the City Engineering Department.
Contractor:
The contractor for this project will be Jo's Concrete Services Ltd.
Budget and Funding:
This project is estimated to cost $21,000.00 with approximately 1/2 paid by the adjacent property owners.
Schedule:
Concrete sidewalk replacement completed by the end of June. Landscaping completed in July.
