Project Profile:
Parkview Drive was constructed in the late 80's and the asphalt surface is now showing signs of distress.
The City proposes to construct an asphalt overlay on top of the existing road service, which should extend the life of the existing road structure another ten to twenty years. An asphalt planer will be used to remove asphalt along the gutter line so that the new pavement matches the existing gutter.
New permanent lane markings will be applied, once the project is complete.
Engineering:
The design and site supervision of this project will be conducted by the City Engineering Department.
Contractor:
Border Paving Ltd. and Lafrentz Road Services Ltd. were awarded the contracts for this project.
