Mount Pleasant Drive Asphalt Overlay

Marler Drive to 43 Avenue

Project Profile:

Mount Pleasant Drive was reconstructed in the early 70's.  The service settlements which have occurred over the years have created dips in the roadway which are inconvenient for drivers.

The City proposes to construct an asphalt overlay on top of the existing road service which should extend the life of the exiting road structure another ten to twenty years.  An asphalt planer will be used to remove asphalt along the gutter line so that the new payment matches the existing gutter.
