50 Street Road Base Reconstruction South of Camrose Drive
Project Profile:
50 Street South of Camrose drive is an arterial road which accomodates traffic to the Regional Landfill and rural areas South of Camrose. The section immediately south of Camrose Drive is failing in a number of areas resulting in a very poor driving surface.
This project will reconstruct the road base with appropriate road base structure and cross section. We hope that completion of this project will facilitate future paving and ultimate conversion to an urban section
Engineer
The design and site supervision of this project will be conducted by the City Engineering Department.
Contractor
A contractor for this project has not yet been selected.
Budget and Funding

Schedule
Postponed until 2003.
Public Notice
Construction of this project will require a detour for all landfill traffic, as well as for the rural area South of Camrose. Notice will be provided in the news media, and signs will be installed to re-route traffic during construction.
