Partially Funded by:

Alberta Transportation logo

Project Profile:

48 Street was last reconstructed in the early 70's and the asphalt surface is showing signs of distress.

The City proposes to construct an asphalt overlay on top of the existing road service, which should extend the life of the existing road structure another ten to twenty years.  An asphalt planer will be used to remove asphalt along the gutter line so that the new payment matches the existing gutter.

New permanent lane markings will be applied, once the project is complete.
