Battle River WatershedThe City of Camrose is a contributing member of the Battle River Watershed Advisory Group (BRWAG), which is a group representing government (municipal, provincial and federal), watershed groups, environmental organizations, industry, academia and private citizens in a collaborative initiative to plan for the sustainable management of land and water resources in the Battle River Watershed. The BRWAG meets a number of times every year to discuss various issues affecting the overall health of the Battle River Watershed.
The Battle River Watershed Advisory groups participated in seven water management forums in 2005 that were held in communities throughout the watershed. Each forum provided information about the Battle River Watershed to provide knowledge to the stakeholders to assist them in making recommendations for the Battle River Water Management Plan.
