| - Last day of complaint | June 25th, 2007 The last day that you can file a complaint against your assessment. |
| - Assessed person | Means a person who is named on an assessment roll
in accordance with section 304; 2 Usually this is the name of the person who appears on the title of the property at Land Titles office.

| - School Support | As declared by declaration by property owner. |
| - Assessment | Process of placing a dollar value on properties for
taxation purposes. The value of the assessment influences the amount of taxes that will be charged to the owner of the property.1

| - Tax Rate | Percentage of assessed value at which each property
is taxed in a municipality.1

| - Taxation | The process of applying a tax rate to an assessed
value to determine the taxes owing.1
