The Lifesaving Society's Bronze Medallion and Bronze Cross programs teach an understanding of the four components of water rescue education: judgement, knowledge, skill and fitness. The participants will practice increasing challenges involved in rescues, be introduced to safe supervision skills, along with developing stroke efficiency. It is also the prerequisite to take the National Lifeguard (NL) program. Completion requires the ability to meet a timed endurance swim.
The program runs Tuesday to Friday from July 17th to July 27th from 10:00 am - 3:00pm. Prerequisites; either completion of Lifesaving Society's Bronze Star or 13 years of age. Cost is $216.25 and includes all required materials.
