The Lifesaving Society’s Bronze Medallion and Bronze Cross programs teach an understanding of the four components of water rescue education: judgement, knowledge, skill and fitness. The participants will practice increasing challenges involved in rescues, be introduced to safe supervision skills, along with developing stroke efficiency. It is also the prerequisite to take the National Lifeguard program. Completion requires the ability to meet a timed endurance swim. The program runs Friday and Saturday on March 9th, March 10th, March 16th and March 17th from 8:30 am – 5:30 pm. Prerequisites; either completion of Lifesaving Society Bronze Star or 13 years of age. The cost is $216.25 and includes all the required materials.
